The goal of this project was to renovate the kitchen and bring openness and modernity
for a young family in the high-tech industry, where they can entertain and unwind. A splash of
bright color was a must for this energetic couple. Fireplace seating area received a cost-effective facelift
without going under major construction.
NorthWest contemporary LAKE VIEW – Medina, wa
This pacific northwest contemporary house is overlooking the lake Washington. The kitchen, master
bathroom, and guest bathroom needed a major renovation. Clean lines, simplicity, comfort, and earth
tone palette was the project objectives. The kitchen backsplash color next to the natural oak casework is
a bridge between indoor and outdoor reflecting the Pacific Northwest nature. The contrast between the
white and other finishes in the kitchen has brought a clean and modern look to this space.
modern Asian Cottage – beaux arts village , wa
This new construction in the heart of Bellevue, needed new furniture and accessories
that reflect owners’ cultural background and lifestyle. Mixture of modern and Asian influences
brought an eclectic yet sophisticated vibe to this welcoming home for years to live and enjoy.
The sectional and the live edge reclaimed wood dinning table are custom-made pieces crafted by local
craftsmen.
Lake Union Condo – Seattle, WA
This condo needed a furniture upgrade to bring a fresh contemporary look with embedded comfort.
Yalda wasn’t shy about combining the warm and cool tones, as well as mixing some rustic pieces with
more refined furniture. The goal was to make this condo welcoming, cozy, sophisticated, with a
touch of unpredictability. Accessorizing this project from walls to ligting and to soft surfaces has made
all the difference.
